I think we are mistaken that work conditions have improved over the years....
What govt does is make sure unemployment us low ...what kind of jobs and working conditions appear to be of no big concern to them for long time.

Employees can be hired and fired easily which gives employers a lot of power

My friend her company has this incentive to prevent employees using sick leave like 14 days full entitlement.

Some certain groups of people will sink the whole ship.
