I believe that NParks is culling wild boars at the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve as part of their management strategy for public safety since boars are venturing into residential areas and exhibiting aggressive behaviour at times in and around Bukit Timah Hill district. I used to see them while jogging in the vicinity, but have not seen a single boar for the past 6 months there.

Too many pigeons. Ceca like to feed. Must cull. Some condo are full of pigeon doppings. Must control their population.
