Why most Singapore cancer patients died due largely to lower screening rates
#1

Cancer patients in Singapore have a higher mortality rate than those in the United States for a number of reasons, including lower cancer screening rates, access to care, and lifestyle factors.
Factors that contribute to higher cancer mortality rates in Singapore

Lower cancer screening rates: Lower screening rates can lead to later diagnosis, which can impact treatment outcomes and survival."

Knowingly and yet, nothing has been done is it?

If you've been to NCCS, There are actually quite a number of patients there. So the screening rates are not low, I think.

Public education the important of early sign and detection of cancers following immediately with screening and recommended procedures..

Otherwise, as the researchers shows, many cancer patients will die.

Instead of focusing on detection and treatment, wouldn't it be better if there are ways to prevent cancer?

For older Singaporeans who are in stressful jobs, get out while you can. Settle for a HDB home and public transport if financing that condo and car are keeping you in that job that is draining away your health.
