Our Nation is super rich and giving GST vouchers are chicken feed. Just take funds from temasick to give kindness to citizens is more rationale, rather than throwing to those useless investments. It does not even need GST increase.

Think they over collect revenue esp property tax.. those last yr fund yrself paying over 50% increase in property tax..
That a hefty increase..
Gst is to help the poor.. think over collect too..
The economy is cooling down fast.. retail and F&B suffering.. and election coming.. hmmmm

A jump in valuation, 85% Citizens living in HDBs be paying much higher Property Tax and higher GST of 9%.
They are taxation.
