Do not stop: S'pore driver tailed by car in JB, says it was 'scariest 10-min chase'

A Facebook user shared an account of his harrowing experience on a Malaysian highway, when he was tailed by another car in Johor Bahru.

The Singaporean man, who goes by Naz Bart Morningstar on Facebook, said he was driving alone up north along a highway at Iskandar Puteri on Nov 7 when he noticed a white car with three people following him.

Dashcam footage he uploaded shows the white car speeding ahead of him and then slowing down to tail him. At several points, the car cuts in front of his vehicle, and every time Naz speeds up, the white car would close the gap.

me too years ago at malacca
was like too - stop n chase
my opinion is they just wanto tease n scare u

my tip to drivers
always drive fast on the rd min 100kmph or more
expressways - drive even faster like 160
then u see if anyone wants to drive infront of u!
rationale is simple - reach another car asap

Have to be careful but it is common.

Some areas in Malaysia, the drivers turn left even on red lights because there are no cars. They will horn you to move.

Quite a lot of areas have no street lights.

My colleague was sent to Malaysia to audit and on his way to the Airport to go home to Singapore, the taxi driver robbed him in some ulu bushy place.
