These internal batteries usually last only 4 years. Either you discard the equipment or change to similar rechargeable batteries. Usually, the equipment manufacturers solder the wires to rechargeable batteries during the assembly process.

my home security cam also wireless and battery build in. Well at most just frequently charge it while at home liao if battery degrade.
This is on the same time these manufactures purposely do like this lor thus in long term you will get new one lor.
but for me as long it able to use is consider good.
