Problem is, many hawker stalls still not accepting CDC vouchers. Especially the popular ones with long queue.

The other problem is, if you are left with only $10 vouchers, you can't buy food cheaper than $10 as many won't give you back the change. Unless you are happy to pay $10 for it.

Price of food goes up without the quality improving nor the size increasing. This economy will look good only superficially to please the abhorrent Govt.

Those greedy hawkers mostly Malaysians feel that since CDC VOUCHERS are free cash from government, it's justifiable for them to also have a share. They will either up their prices or serve smaller portions to fulfil their objectives.

Profiteering Committee...please forewarn those sharkie hawkers in advance.

Already happen liao ever since Covi19. Remember CDC voucher in the first place come out is to help business owners and hawkers.

Now Supply chain actually recover slowly. You say supply is expensive is " Subjective " there are so many foods suppliers you can compare the price and get cheaper quite not bad quality ones. Next High rental that problem is Greedy landlord.

In fact landlord are the Biggest winners as usual.

I don't think Malaysian stall owners like Zi Char and cai fan can accept CDC. My place Zi Char and cai fun stall don't accept payment via CDC voucher.  CDC vouchers meant to help local stall owners.

PAP purposely wants to over- price everything

making things expensive so that both tourists and citizens don't buy

As for the Lucky Foreigners, they always go home to Malaysia, India . . . to shop

to buy pots, underwear, shoes, handbags . . .

Why do we need 5 Mayors and 80 PAP Ministers?
