Hainanes Chicken also got " fake so call is Hokkien , cantonese , teochew people cook of course they must be learning from others or some hainanese chicken seller going to retire willing to teach them "
the real Hainanese chicken rice stall in fact is All white chicken. They don't see roast chicken. Of course some Hainanese chicken rice hawker they do sell roasted chicken partly due to some customers prefer it.
In fact authentic hainanese chicken rice still they ONLY sell white chicken.
come taste. Is quite easily to know which is a Real hainanese chicken rice vs those " fake wannabe "
Is hard to explain, if you eat before real Hainanese cook one and the store Only sell White chicken. You go taste it later go those got sell roasted beside white chicken than you will notice the taste is different.

Now, the chicken eats corn, thus they are yellow. Taste sweeter. When you go to Hainan, you'll find that Singapore chicken rice tastes even better.
Guangzhou's food is the best.

I think only those in China eat corn. When I ate in Hainan, the chicken skin was also yellow. I was told it was a healthier choice as the chicken turn out less fat or oily.
In Guangzhou, I love roast goose the most.

Chicken rice is highly profitable.
Can see Chicken rice stalls mushrooming aggressively at many locations these days, especially in Chinatown area.
Some C R sharks are selling at sky high prices. Profiteering.

This one horrible service. Once ordered just the chicken and not the oily rice, the stall worker said "不卖“ and still scolded us vulgar hokkien words.
