Quote:On Jan 9, 2025, the police said that between Aug 28, 2024, and the end of the year, at least 1,591 cases of impersonation scams featuring Chinese companies were reported, with total losses amounting to at least $27.9 million.

This is a very serious crime.
What is the SPF response?

I received twice, my spouse and my son received once, from these same scammers last week. We traveled and used Alipay and wechat to pay for transport, entrance fee and food in China recently. I believed they fished our handphone number from there.
