Woman to PM Lee: some projects are “sillier than how you look in pink”
#1

In an open letter to Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on social media, a woman has opined that projects such as ‘Gardens at the Airport’, Medishield Life, affordable HDBs and education “Changes” are all “sillier than how you look in pink”. She wrote that she felt PM Lee had “misplaced priorities”.

Starting out with Gardens at the Airport – a term which likely refers to the Enchanted Garden at Terminal 2, the Butterfly Garden at Terminal 3, a Cactus Garden and many others scattered throughout the airport, she wrote:

“We do not need more billion dollar playgrounds for foreigners. Gardens by the Bay cost $1.1 billion to build, $53 million a year to maintain…!
As for your pet Project Jewel, Singapore is now bleeding at least $100 million every year just on maintenance alone…!”

I know why he is called Pinky now.

This covid has shown widening gaps.

: “Despite your ludicrous proposals, there are also many issues you conveniently swerved out of – foreigner population, escalating cost of living, COE prices, public transport breakdowns, inadequacy for retirement, media control, widening income gap, increasing corruption cases, depressed salaries, unfair NS treatment, dipping standard of living resulting in growing unhappiness among the people, etc”.

Actually, with or without LHL to stay on . . . . the same problems will still persist.

Why his Succession Plan failed for so many years?

Why do we need 5 Mayors and 80 PAP Ministers?

Those mega attractions are nonsense. Any countries can alway build similar 10x bigger. We need to preserve our heritage, but looking at Chinatown now, all is gone.

There are still pockets of buildings in Chinatown that are still preserved, i.e. the shop houses.....

Staying as Prime Minister, may shorten his life, there is more to life than just be rich in money.  LHL should take a back seat now, and become a senior minister, and relax and have  a lesser stressful job ... Laughing .

Reading her feedback, either not capable Ministers or heavy workload that requires another 100 Ministers to see to all the issues.

Frankly speaking, it is his own PAP Ministers that made him look silly.

From the Toy Soldiers from SAF, to Ong YK, JoTeo, Chan CS, Gan KY . . .

Why do we need 5 Mayors and 80 PAP Ministers?
