From reliable sources he took private jet with extra fuel to return to Singapore. This was because he was returning to a country he once fled, so he must be extra careful. If he received unfavourable news while he was in the air, he can direct the flight back to Sg or if upon landing in BKK and the airport was filled with tanks and armed commandos, he can direct his plane to escape.
