Without practical experience it is very difficult to get a job for fresh graduates.
In the past there were the so called trainee programmers and so on.
But in today's environment who wants to train you when there are so many ft ceca experienced guy around. Courses in the tertiary institutions are not that relevant to fit the vacancies.

The problem is the idiots in MOE, lah

Pay $1200 or something for interns so that they are forced to be cheap machines

Not Executives who will be Future FTE in the company

Why do we need 5 Mayors and 80 PAP Ministers?

Most local companies when looking for IT hiring they tend to only want experienced candidates that can start working with minimal training, so that why such jobs mostly go to FT with some experiences than local FG. Sad

Not to mention IT ish not really a flourishing industry in red dot, making it even harder for FG to compete for job openings. Sad

There was a time when the country asked ordinary men to do extraordinary things.

But now, they'll only do it for money.

This Govt has built a false impression that CECA are best in IT for years. Who will want to take risk to hire locals unless it’s big MNC with already 10,000 CECA and able to adopt a few stray kittens.

A NUS student expressed frustration with the job market, revealing that despite applying to over one hundred positions, they have yet to receive an offer. In contrast, a former Indian employee, recently sentenced for unauthorized access to NCS's computer material, secured a new job in February 2023, just four months after being dismissed by NCS in October 2022.

your life in singapur is to give in to the party you voted for; everything.

this nation never appreciate citizens of anything except during election period

local born citizens are criminals who commit most if not all crimes in their eyes

and you voted for it to happen

must be thankful to the
