Young single people still can lie and say went for long holiday or attended training course. Middle- age like us, too difficult to make up stories.

My former colleagues who were retrenched in their late 40s and early 50s are mostly self-employed, underemployed or unemployed now. Those who couldn't land a PME job within 2 years effectively fell off the cliff.
