I disagree nuke saved China …. Jipponese already exhausted at the end of WW2 ……while after WW2, communist China continue to fight till 1949

Agreed it is not the nukes. 
There are a saying Jap fear SU might take a bigger chunk of Jap out if further delay the surrender, SU troops already at the door step.

It may be surprise if one refer to the old polls, who contribute more in European theater.
