The deal, which was supposed to be a step towards helping to end the conflict in Ukraine, fell through on Friday after a televised Oval Office clash with US President Donald Trump.

"It is our policy to continue what happened in the past, we're constructive," Zelensky said, quoted by the BBC.

"If we agreed to sign the minerals deal, we're ready to sign it."

"You're either going to make a deal or we're out," Trump added. "And if we're out, you'll fight it out and I don't think it's going to be pretty."

Ukraine to part away minerals to US wil not give any security guarantee to Ukraine. US just want payback for those weapons which US hv supplied to Ukraine.

Political talks. Zen cannot let his pple think think Ukraine can b bullied and Trump must show to his pple tat he is US first. The fundamentals have not changed. Us needs the minerals and Ukraine needs the arms. Full stop.

Because Trump refuse to move on without a deal.

Zelenskyy should give more than what Trump wanted. Let him be happy. Sign everything effective 1 year later.

Then Zelenskyy can call for an election. The new winner will say the past is the past. We are talking about the future.
