According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Russian forces have completely destroyed the eastern Donbass region. In his nightly video message, Zelenskyy accused Moscow of pointlessly bombing while the offensive intensified. 

"In the Donbass, the occupiers are trying to exert even more pressure. It's hell there - that's not an exaggeration," Zelenskyy added.
