advisable to drink some water when woke up in middle of the nite ?

Actually you bring a cup with you into the toilet
Urine the first few drops and discard.
The rest of the urine u drink

Maybe, hv a few sips. But, not too much as it disrupt yr sleep which is true.

Double edge sword. Too much will make you wake up again and go toilet. For elderly too little your body may become dehydrated before you feel thirsty and increase risk of stroke and heart attack.
