who is lying ?
Responding to Mr Ong's post, Mr Seetoh on Monday said that the cost of using the baskets was "shown and told to me by a hawker there".
He claimed to have seen the invoice and receipt of payment for it. The hawker "has no reason to make this up", he added.

Some points to ponder :
- Hawkers' Agreement: The initial agreement was for hawkers to provide 30 meals per month, later adjusted to 100 meals over three years, with no penalties for non-compliance.
- Community Support: The initiative aims to encourage hawkers to "pay it forward" and contribute to the community, aligning with the values of social responsibility.
- Potential Impact: Mandatory free meals could affect hawkers' businesses, particularly if they're already operating on thin margins. On the other hand, it could also foster a sense of community and social cohesion.
- Contractual Terms: KF Seetoh questioned the contractual terms, suggesting that charity should be a personal deed rather than a contractual obligation. What do you think?

IF I not mistaken, when this place open as usual Minister or Mp of that area come to do open cermoney will obviously mention " Free " meals every month help those needy,
NOW the contract expose is mention " Is not a force thing to give free meals every month " is up to individual hawkers want or don't want if their wish.
End up most never , partly due to rent, labour etc cost the hawkers also need to earn feed themselves first how to give free meals.
Yesterday I saw news, the reporter do interview some hawkers on free meals every month for those needy ones.

When PAP tells the stalls to provide cheap meals, who dare to say NO?
Mrs Kurt Gangsters can take photos and threaten
or the next round of electricity subsidy will exclude the stall
Indirectly, they are penalized because of the Govt Contract.
