Many years ago, I have given my son a supplementary card. He tried to use it in a restaurant, but the restaurant said that they don't accept diners credit card.  It has caused embarrassment to my son, and his friends, cos he is trying to pay the bill with Diners card.  I wrote a complain letter to Diner club, and told them what happened to my son case. And they apologized readily, and sent me a pocket diary for executives as a form of apology ......
