'I used to work in a suit and tie, now I wash dishes,' says hotel manager turned cuttlefish bee hoon hawker

The stall offers Malaysian-style noodle dishes like cuttlefish bee hoon topped with braised pork and lai fun, a bouncy thick rice noodle commonly used in Penang assam laksa.

His price maybe on the high side, that's why business is slow.

He should charge at $4 instead of $5.
With bigger volume, it will be profitable.

He's certainly not the 1st nor the last to switch to be a hawker.

There was a regional IT manager lost his job and started his own Bak Chor Mee stall.
