Here are the steps
1. Put earbuds to check if volume is also low.
2. If yes, means you have software issue. If not it is hardware issue.
If hardware, you need to go shop open up and have speaker replaced or cleaned. ....some times it's accumulated lint but if that is the case it should soften slowly not suddenly.
If software issue, go to playstore look for sound/equaliser app....use the app to adjust
