For data center, its for sure. My friend is the GM, SEA for a UK data center (DC) company. He said SG gov dun go out to attract data center in fact they limit the amount of DC being built in SG. It takes up too much power, water and land. It create too little job. One small shopping center size (machiam queensway shopping center) only need 7 engineers.

SG is actually highly favourite by foreign companies like Amazon, Google, MS, Huawei, Alibaba because many major subsea cables ends in SG and its infrastrures are very reliable and extensive. No natural disaster, and political stable. But SG gov not keen.
