hahaha . . WSG has intelligent people but! Their good ideas are all rejected by MOM.

I know because the points I raised went up the level ie PAP's pass motion type of process

Mature workers like those ah- soh?

Or Mature workers like dumb Jac Lau?

Worse, mature workers who only have O Levels?

Can WSG be more specific and stop shooting blank like JoTeo?

She is gone and her stupidity is the past.

WAKE- UP.

Why do we need 5 Mayors and 80 PAP Ministers?

You are living in the 1960s ah?

The civil service is far more advanced than most of the private sector, for your information.

Most of the private sector companies are SMEs, still working with old methods and old software.

Don't think that if you are working for Tan Ah Kow Pte Ltd, you are very tech savvy hor.  Most of the workers still don't even know what the eff is SharePoint...and that probably includes you.

The Government sends civil servants for courses all the time to upgrade their skills...AGREED, it is paid by taxpayers. In the private sector, expenditure on Training and Development come from the boss' own pocket if it is a SME, and he is stingy and will not spend this kind of money.  He wants more profits for himself and his own chewren.

Even if the government pays, he will still say "What?  My workers go for full day courses for one month?  Who does their work?  Cannot!  Cannot!"  This is why the private sector is lagging behind in so many things....not talking about MNCa hor.

Your idea of civil servants is so outdated man.  You are thinking of the lowly paid workers in polyclinics, libraries, or some ministry ah?

Seems like your uncle had been lying to you for too long....

Let us not divide public and private sector first.

But more concerning is they give equal chances to foreigners to learn those programs.
How to develop build local core is puzzling.
A country without a local core can easily have its capabilities clone elsewhere,
just pay higher also easily lure foreigners out from Sg, put more challenges to Sg.
Is it not a self defeating plan?

Tan SL cannot lead his MOM nor 8 sister agencies like JoTeo.

You see WSG running amok like headless mozzie?

There are basically 4 Groups of mature workers.

WHY MOM is Forever LAZY and must use one broom to sweep all?

PAP's logic is like SAI.

If they downgrade to do jobs they can do, but none is available.

What makes them think that by "False Upgrading", they can get better jobs?

No experience and no skills, how to upgrade to get better jobs??

Why do we need 5 Mayors and 80 PAP Ministers?

Yesterday M1 fibre down so forced to watch channel 5..

Saw this ad (those mid career change program) of a man who lose his job of 15 years as a content manager in music downloading industry and then took a mid career change to healthcare..

I am like wtf.. Music downloading industry something of yesterday?? Music downloading is still much alive today, and all the more video downloading.. So why a person with 15 years experience cannot find a job??

Want to use a persona, also use something that is more dummy proof, something like a steel mill worker, where the industry is totally gone in Singapore..

1. I have served the nation in a combat unit for 2.5 + 10 years. I had fulfilled my duty as a citizen, but has the country do it's part for me?
2. I don't know where the threat of CCP is, but I know the threat of CECA is already at my doorsteps
3. I had been called a CCP, JHK, Pinoy, but they never called me a CECA..

You just want to argue...without substance.

If you insist on saying that people who work for Tan Ah Kow Pte Ltd or Lee Ah Huat Pte Ltd are very tech savvy, and those working in the Ministry of Finance or Ministry of Health are still keeping paper files, continue in your ignorance as you wish.....

Happy New Year to your right hand...I mean "uncle".

What you preferring are those DAM Small OLD SMC , there are many SMC into technology.
You also get mistaken DO I claim Ministries now still using manual work record data? OF Course they using computer, system to do the recording etc, datas stuffs

What I say , IS THE CULTURE INSIDE OLD MINDSET AKA " LIVING IN THEIR COMFORT ZONE "

Fyi, A LOT Old civil servant don't even know the basic of using Computer inside civil services. EPIC A Lot malware inside why? They surf net and go surf those porno site etc full of malware and thus this is why data leaks all along from public sectors.

I think you still don't even know civil servant working culture is.
