i think he bought baba around the same time when warren buffet/berkshire bought into baba at 220 and spend 200million
so he follow buffett..

There are 2  strategies short term and long term.

Long term investors should not care what market does in short term.. 

When bearish about US and bullish about China based on valuation its a long term view that may take 5yrs to play out.

In the short term most important is momentum of the market what goes up continues to go UP e.g US market until it reached a major top that may be 6 months or 13 months from now nobody knows.

If you invest in a good solid long term stock it does not mean everyday it goes up....and there is no guaranteed it won't nosedive when peopñe panic sell. 

Problem is Master Leong invest based on long term but makes video daily and updates the market daily. This is a conflict resulting in his vuewer asking him to explain why Hang Seng fell why Alibaba goes down etc. This stresses him and cause health problem
