The war with the Delta variant is not even over, and now there's the Omicron variant.

Seems like the light at the end of the tunnel is still not visible.

Anyone here suffering from covid fatigue?

Yarmai, too little too late. Goondu koon as usual is playing catch up with current events.

"In terms of vaccine efficacy, early data suggests that current vaccines should remain effective against severe disease and death. However, more studies are needed to understand the actual impact of this variant on our existing countermeasures, including vaccines and treatments," MOH added.

Simi early data? Right from the start virologist oredy say too mutated until high chance of vaxx not working.

Now Moderna [the jab with highest efficacy ] CEO oso come out too say buay sai. MOH make their own ostrich prognostication.

This why stock markets are falling .....

Don't play play, it is very contagious even if it is "mild".

Why hesitate to take more drastic action ? - close border lah.

we ban travellers from South African nations entering Spore yet open border wide to European countries, Australia and the US, potentially Omicron viruses have already widespread in these countries.   crying

Agreed. By closing borders later chances of new variants
infecting the population grows more. Then CB starts again. Stupid MTF.  Angry

Horlan horlan horlan horlan...

And then say they could have done better on hindsight. Actually what we wanted was more foresight and less aftermath finger pointing. Lol

Ask you all a question. Singapore, every business & everyone are & will get even more bad shape & situation....because of the virus & variants or the ministers, the MMTF, MOH, HSA, NCID, infectious diseases experts, doctors, big pharma, vaccine makers?

Fcking LJ, lah.

Just deport those 2 on transit. Why must tax payers pay for those tourists who are not even coming to SG?

Why do we need 5 Mayors and 80 PAP Ministers?

Yes,  a day faster a day safer.
How much can vaccine protect is a question mark,
32 points different in spike protein can make immune system not detect it as enemy till much later.

Anyway Sg should promote use of inhibitor spray, but they obsess with vaccine...

Since we  cannot combat the Omicron virus, we must take all measures to avoid the virus from coming to our shores. Prevention is better than cure.... Clapping

Actually Singapore can just refuse entry but fully open transit flights. It's an airhub it should facilitate the movement to remain relevant... Any longer delay flights will just divert to other countries and place like Thailand which is more centrally located in Asia will take the airhub role...
