$130M being spent annually on foreign student scholarships is downright obscene

Why not spend this money to better educate Singaporean children.
Many who are capable of getting degrees cannot get a place in the university and miss out on a chance to better themselves.
Those who are rich can go overseas for degree if they cannot get into local universities but those who are poor won't have a chance.
