KDK for motor which lasts.
But go for simple one. KDK is not good in fanciful stuff.

If you staying on high floor, just open windows and doors to draw in outside winds is very cooling and comfortable. No need fan and aircond. This way you save electricity.
Can also save water if you go downstairs of condo and use the public toilet below.......

the local/malaysian brand starting with europe, much cheaper than kdk/pana, its motor is quite gd and quiet, but the plastic and metal parts are quite lousy.

I regret replacing my Panasonic/National standing fan with nicer looking Dyson fan

Ended up I hardly use it as I find it noisy. I switch on aircon 24 hour when I'm at home.

I don't buy brand name fans such as kdk or Dyson. The midrange ones such as mistral is fine. I think it is now a Malaysian company. One fan i used for five years. Still running well and smooth. Aerogaz is cheap, but only last for three years

TS should first tell us what's his budget. KDK is very established but expensive. I used Mistral for years and it's reasonably priced.
