My Mother HARDWORKING CHINA Poco C40 phone can use forever. Bought this HARDWORKING CHINA Poco C40 phone for my mother in August 2022, the phone launched in June 2022. So the phone will have 3 years of security updates until after June 2025. So after 3 years I change new phone for my mother or still continue to use the old phone. Problem is my mother seldom use the phone. Is use for phone call only and sometimes she play offline game but play for short period of time only. Everyday my mother use between more than 5% to less than 20% of the battery. My mother don't use other apps on phone except 4d toto and mewatch but mewatch she rarely touch unless miss program then she will watch. Once in a long while she will login to her singpass via web browser. So should I change phone for my mother or continue using this Poco C40 phone. But if the battery still good because my mother seldom use the phone will be like very boh hua but my mother already login some government website like singpass if don't change the phone after 3 years is I scare my mother phone Kenna hacked cause no more security updates Liao.

Xiaomi, Poco and Redmi have at least 800 full charge cycles, that 2 years 2 months of full charge 0-100%. They clarify themselves. My mother each day use less than 20%, so my mother phone battery will still be ok after 3 years but only no security updates scare phone tio hacked.

Security is only for rich people and celebrities, we poor commoners can use old phone without updates.
