What's wrong to say some girls pretty. In fact it's offensive to say somebody is ugly.

I am rather surprise CNA publish the story as if it was some kind of scandal

All he did Is he wrote that he met a pretty girl or some pretty girl ask him something etc.

Agree. I was in my shower last night, but I seem to hear PM Lee saying during his Mandarin speech of a 97yo grandma being pretty too. Or did I hear it wrongly?
