She can put herself as an independent candidate for PR, right?  

Why she didn't do that?

When to disqualify Tan Cheng Bock, Halima was just put in with a law made then that qualification criterion of a minority-race president was needed so that TCB was not qualified.   

After that, in the next election, she is not needed anymore.
