OMG!

Bringing up nitty gritty stuff

Importantly, should look at purchasing power and disposable income (ignore taxation).

Simply buy a car and that will stop anyone complaining about public transport.

Enjoy fine dinning and frequent drinking with group of friends.

Oh No!!!😬🥶
Poor Scy...🤣
My cousin seem happy there so far never mention wanna come back SG, he even currently trying to get PR or citizenship there.
My cousin family moved to Melbourne, have multi houses, they often come back, also never say want to settle back in SG.

But what is the point to move there? More space, bigger house? Cheaper car to drive? Less stressful lifestyle? In exchange, lose the familiarity, places, food and people of one's homeland where one grows up in.....Is it worth the exchange?

Honest opinion

Parents don't want their children to waste 2 years doing NS (more than 75 NSmen died) no reason to take unnecessary risk, and most importantly, many hope their kids to be doctors.

Australia employed so many soldiers
.
Northern Territory has similar hot climate like Singapore.

Very subjective, after all we only lived once. Big Grin
The grass is often greener on the other side. Aussies and xinkies envious of each other. Objectively though, AU will literally be burning in the next few decades from global warming. Better don't go.
No regrets at all about making the move Down Under to Australia, mate! It's been a bonza experience, and I've pretty much fallen in love with this place. The sun, the surf, the laid-back vibes – it's all good.
But you know, it's natural to think about what's next. I've got some big dreams on the horizon, and one of 'em involves packin' my bags and checkin' out some pricey places in London. London's got that hustle and bustle, and it's a whole different ball game.
So, while I'm lovin' my time here in Oz, I'm also keepin' an eye on those big-city dreams. Life's all about explorin' new horizons, and who knows where the journey might take us, right?
