Sad.  There are no winners in a war afterall

But having said that, they must thank Hamas for bringing this upon them then.

After watching a Chinese program about Gaza, now understand why they call it open air prison. Many things are prohibited from entering Gaza, edible and non-edible. If you say certain chemicals or bomb making materials are not allowed into Gaza, that is fine. But all this while, Israel has been prohibiting things like construction materials and fresh meat, a basic necessity. The list of banned items is so long. Can I ask hc, how to develop Gaza into like Singapore?

Gaza still not flattened yet. The casualty is still far below 70K. 

Still a long way to go.

Palestine started the war by invading Israel first.

If this picture is true. Hamas militants should not use civilians as a shield in this war. They r making trouble for the civilians by covering themselves up.

Dun think Israel can block the seafront. Understand Israel only wants to inspect the goods imported by sea for security reasons. If such inspection or any blockade becomes unreasonable, then Palestinians should seek help from the United Nations instead of attacking Israel. After all, the United Nations planned the Gaza Strip to settle the war between Israel and Palestine. Dun thinks Israel can block passage from Egypt in the Southern part. Think Palestinians should find someone like LKY to lead them. If Singapore can survive without Malaysia, so can they without Israel.

I think you got history upside down.

Shortage of food, power, and water should not have happened even when there is a Israel blockade. These are essential goods for the survival of the nation. It appears that the Palestinian Governments have been doing nothing all these years since the Gaza Strip was founded in 1948 except they are building tunnels all over the place to hide themselves, trying to outdo the Israelis' defense system.

It is a good excuse to have. If Singapore had been doing what Palestinians are doing, confronting Malaysia and fighting back when Malaysia kicked out Singapore in the 60's, we might have ended up like the Gaza Strip. Malaysia constantly threatened to cut off our water and block Singapore from getting sand, food, and other essential goods from Malaysia.

Its wrong to call Gaza open air prison because that imply the 2.2 million Palestinians are convicts who committed crimes.

Gaza is a Concentration Camp.

That will depend on who the ruler is. With Najib don't have such problems. And Singapore does not belong to Malaysia.  If they don't sell, nobody can do anything about it.

Singapore Govt chose Butter cover Guns

Hamas rob their own people fertilizers to grow vegetables to make bombs

Hamas took metal that is used to build schools to make tunnels 

Palestines can run the other way to Egypt but Egypt is more cruel than Isreal

A nation's survival should not depend on who is ruling the neighboring countries. If there is a desire for Palestinians to build the Gaza Strip and turn it into the Singapore of the Middle East, they can do it.

That is because the Palestinians or hamas still think that the land belong to them. When was younger, had been watching news almost every night showing the Israeli used bulldozers to tear down their home and the Palestinian men or women screaming and crying.

If Israel treats Palestinians decently, and not like "human animals" to be caged & slaughtered every now & then, Hamas wouldn't exist.

People who said that Gaza could be Singapore ought to have their geography knowledge checked. Singapore is at a location where ships from Europe/Middle East/Africa to Asia have to pass by.

You can take reference to USA land size 2 or 3 hundreds years ago to now.

If Palestinians had free will to choose who should govern them, Hamas who won in 2006 by a slim margin, would have been voted out years ago

Hamas is a resistance organisation who knows how to resist Israel, but suc.ks at governing.

You probably dont know that in 2017, Hamas softened its stance and was prepared to accept Israel's existence based on the 1967 borders

Terrorists only fights for their own survival. They also stole fuel to keep them for own use. They are not heroes who wil fight face to face combat with the opponents. Instead, they use human shields to push blame.
