This is fallacy of making too many  conclusions from a single observation....

When i go cycling with various groups, even $1K bike people take alot of precautions to park where they can see the bike in case someone takes it whole they are eating.

May be never observe there is an Apple Airtag hidden inside the seat lah. Now use high tech to find and locate bicycle.

Very common in Singapore. 
15k is not the top range. Many are 20k and above. 
Riding 40km/hr...
