Pap getting cecas to bully locals.

Reverse discrimination is at its worst in SG where foreign PMEs are enjoying the good life while locals turn to driving taxis and PHVs or food delivery after losing their white collar jobs.

The legal right to express our opinions freely and debates are an important part of the democratic process. An awful lot of people abuse this privilege, thanks to the admin taking a laissez-faire approach to moderating discussion. These keyboard warrior get their charge out of teasing others and making them feel they are not up to scratch. They also get their jollies from bandying words with one another. All cut from the same cloth. Civil discussion is of secondary importance.

You don't seem to fall into this group dynamics. You are the definition of a gentleman, seeing as how you are making the rounds of the threads to exchange banter with other contributors in a nonconfrontational way, taking no part in forummers' squabbles and seemingly oblivious to the background noise and obscenities in any way, shape, or form being spewed out. And you seem able to get out of a tight spot, given that you have a way with words. Smile

There are far too many trolls on the various forums. I wish to have civil discussions in order to learn from other SG Talkers by sharing views in order to get closer to the truth. If we don't abuse each other in person, why resort to hitting below the belt on faceless forums?  Everyone is entitled to their views which must be respected by other forumers.  If we discuss issues in a mature way, we all learn, agree to disagree and this benefits everybody.  If we descend into the gutter with insults and name calling, we ALL lose. It is just my 2 cents' worth.  Have a great day ahead!

It is really easy to get banned from EDMW.  You may be posting like a gentleman, enjoying banter and cracking some non-offensive jokes when you find yourself suddenly banned owing to a frivolous complaint from another EDMWer who finds a harmless crack to be "offensive".  It seems like the mods bend to the will of certain prudish forumers.
to each and his own interest.

no right or wrong.

What you said happened to me.. a witty joke, a friendly jab teasing someone got me infrared. Reason? A long list!  Forum nuisance, blab blab blab.

And to rub salt, the standard message from the mighty mod would end with Have a nice day.

It does not help that unlike others, I had told mods off in the forum before.  Rotfl

I don't por rampar just to try to be a mod's blue eyed boi.  Rolleyes
