To be fair many of the more rural\less developed states in Taiwan are still being heavily controlled by black gold power, typically those had secret society background and\or involved in religious organizations. (actually usually a mix of both since it ish easier to control the rural populace through both secret society and also religious groups) In those areas ballot box\votes fixing\buying ish very common.

Moi taiwan friends said this time dpp lose so much legislator seats ish also because they try to fully cut loose from black gold, so these local power end up go to support the blue and white instead. In taiwan politic you can cut some black gold loose to wayang but cannot go cut all, cut all of them loose erection ish sure lose.

Show once again that western democracy is regressive.
