During the monthly assembly with the Prime Minister's Department (JPM) at Dewan De' Seri Endon, Puspanitapuri, he said the pardon board's decision is conclusive and beyond dispute.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said the Pardon Board's decision to reduce Datuk Seri Najib Razak's jail sentence and fine was due to the 'mercy and compassion' of the 16th Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah.
