A 42-year-old driver was allegedly beaten to death by a group of motorcyclists in Semenyih, Selangor, last night, 20 February

According to Harian Metro, the incident allegedly occurred when the victim, driving a grey Proton Saga, collided with a food deliveryman.

After the accident, the victim was allegedly pursued by a group of motorcyclists until they arrived at Taman Pelangi Semenyih 2, where the victim lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a residential area's fence.

Kajang district police chief ACP Mohd Zaid Hassan said upon receiving a call about the accident, officers from the district traffic investigation department were deployed to the scene.

"Upon arrival, the officers noticed a car had crashed into the fence of one of the houses and saw a man lying in the middle of the road, with both hands tied.
