amazing they even made it to Baltimore in the 1st place..............never got lost in Bermuda Triangle............

Luckily otherwise if had been a Chinese the Americans would have blamed China for purposely hitting the bridge!

I ever sailed as XO with an Indian Csptain. Knnah, really gabra king. There was one time he conning the ship along the wharf. Some how the current was very strong and he gabra until gave orders nobody can understand.
He actually wanted to stop the port engine but due to gabra he ordered starboard instead if "stop port*. As a result the throttle man was unable to carry out the order which caused the ship to hit the wharf fender very hard and damage it.

They quickly blamed ship lost power. Dunno true or not. I ever boarded a flooded ship in Persian Gulf with all Indian Crew and Officers. They told me the ship hit a mine, but after sealing up the hull and pumping out all the water, I found the sea-chest was opened by someone. Obviously it was a sabotage job by the crew for some unknown reason.

I went down to do a damage survey for a company because all their qualified people refused to go to that war zone. Wives will divorce them.
