CPF money is your own money not govt charity.
fake news lah.....mexican also very confident like sinkees whereas good welfare countries fared badly....wat a joke!
Better than mudkies govt lo...🤣
Aging population is a killer issue.
You think so easy to resolve with pathetic 2.5% return.
Singapore only has 3 millions citizens. Very small population to take care.
Unlike the mudkies, 6 more times than us, with same GDP..
Of course lah! When die alone at home, after a few days, neighbour complain smelly who come? So long as got gov official or civil servant come and collect their body surely they are confident lah.
It depend how the survey questions are structured. Like someone rightly point out, cpf is our money, has nothing to do with govt ability to take care of us
Correct CPF is our money. Can buy house, investment and retirement account with lifetime payment.

Mudkies also has EPF. But many complaints not enough for retirement. Especially after they draw out in C19.

KWASA DAMANSARA, 3 March 2024: The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) Board today announced a dividend rate of 5.50% for Simpanan Konvensional.

EPF returns better than CPF

My sister in Malaysia, no O level, failed Bahasa Malaysia

Every month get about RM 5K from her EPF

She is 67, drives a new car, lived in her own apartment, own 2 other properties

Started work as a clerk, pay rent, not enough money to eat, got to steal toilet paper from office for home use

She is single like sgbuffett but work until her retirement age in Malaysia

5k is SGD 1.4k.
Easy to hit with our RA. On top of that, many 65 years old Singaporean fully paid their HDB with CPF.

I know Malaysian got pension if works in civil service. But they are going to stop it because country will goes bankrupt if it carries on such policy.
Not sure about their RA though.

But many Malaysian EPF fund is low. Due to low contribution rate and drawn out in C19 or 55 years old. No money left for retirement.

As for driving car, a famous Malaysian, you tuber recently say it is a must, due to poor public transport and personal safety.
In Singapore, retirees normally don't drive. We grab, mrt, bus, bicycle or walk..🤣

Definitely. But the 78% are totally clueless about what has happened and what will happened. There is no need for anyone with tertiary education to prophecise a sinkhole ahead.

The Great Disaster made by this Govt  was making CECA build our country while our locals were left out. With job evolving into Cyber Security, this also gave CECA new job opportunities, not us.

And in the next few years, our locals does not have AZure to build AI to make our lives better. We still need to depend on CECA that this Govt wanted to prime our lives instead.

10 years go and 10 years later, our lives are still part of their Game for Exploitation.

Vital for Singapore to build knowledge on nuclear power, safety: DPM Wong. The city-state has stepped up its research around nuclear energy in recent years.

Thursday, Wong and French President Emmanuel Macron launched the France-Singapore Joint Year of Sustainability (JYOS), a series of events and initiatives from April 2024 to mid-2025, that highlights both countries’ cooperation in sustainable development and the green transition.

Asked by Business Times if nuclear energy could be of interest under the JYOS, Wong said: “Nuclear cooperation is certainly on the table. But it’s not so much about ‘let’s identify a nuclear project’, b'cos we have not even decided to adopt nuclear power for Singapore.”

Instead, Singapore is interested in enhancing its knowledge and capabilities on nuclear power, he added.

I am very sure half of the 78% are gullible where they hve totally no idea every year, this Govt will raise at least 3 to 6 areas of prices.

So it means that they are clueless that the daily necessities will increase by 20% in 10 years time reducing the value of their savings.
Believable, 78% because of the CDC vouchers
If without, such inflation should be lower at 58% .

Inflation is robbing the saving and even investments.
Most of investments in last decade has low returns.

The MIW will give us a wing from the whole chicken that they forcibly take from us

The CDC vouchers that we receive are from the taxes that we pay the Govt. Remember in past elections when the MIW used the upgrading issue to threaten HDB dwellers using their own money? This shows the so-called "integrity" of our leaders.
No one owe you a living.

Precisely! That is why those who moan about the govt not assisting much except using their own money to fund so-called relief packages should work harder so that they don't have to rely on handouts. Remember that the MIW only gives to the masses what they extract from the middle and upper classes.
The MIW are shielded from inflation
