Apple Singapore employs many ppl. Ahbutt pukimak got sent in yr resumes?
Move out from China will be a most stupid decision for Apple.

This is quite similar scenario to the declining of Alibaba.
No wonder Pinky refuse to entertain Cook.
India and Vietnam CMI that's why look for Indonesia? But history says that Indonesia lagi worse.
Indon is a big market. Govt will ask to localise to provide local jobs and Govt give market access.

Alot of electronic parts and material will still be from China.
Another assembly factory. Do u think they are able to design and make the chips and parts?

The chips are made in Taiwan

So india is only doing assembly?
Low end jobs would naturally look for the cheapest labors, is there anything for ermaos to be excited about?
Into the ring of fire
Besides the political differences,  China must have "graduated" itself from the class of "low labor cost country".  Must be phone making has more AI content and depend much less on skilled labor.  This is just a natural transition in manufacturing industries. The political differences just quicken the transition process.
Indonesia is just doing the final assembly leg like India for Iphones.

Low value added stuff that China is happy to let the lower cost countries do.

The components still come from China.

Only sgbutt will think it's the end of the world for China.  Little does he know that China is happy to let the cheapo countries do low level shite like simple final assembly work while they work on high end stuff.

Meanwhile, his beloved India don't even have enough food to eat  Clapping

Tensions between the two govt grow, Apple just listen to their govt or congress order to diversify.
But they unlikely to remove all productions, as they still need Cn market.

As Apple spread into different markets Ina Ind Viet , we likely to see
different models from each countries.
Also we will also see Cn will produce more higher end local brands.

Apple still have production in China rah.

Just that Apple don't want to put all eggs into one basket so set up factories in various countries.

India got , now Indo and Vietnam not surprising. One day even MY also got I also not surprising but MY is a bit " anti USA companies " but they are Pro to China now under Anwar Smile

Back in 2018, China factories only contributed just a mere US$8+ worth.
With US trying to hollow out Chinese factories since Trump's era, I don't think there are many China-made parts in the present iPhone models.

China makes $8.46 from an iPhone. That's why a U.S. trade war is futile

After moving to India and Vietnam, came back to China. When Apple India sent to EU, angmo rejected. They asked for products made in China.

Any difference now to move to Indonesia?

The problem is Apple iPhone's lack of innovation. Customers wanted Huawei and Xiaomi phones.

That is the issue, not the place making the products.

Lousy products who want?

.
Third world china is very poor now because all the companies are moving out of that hellhole LOLOLOL!

No wonder have to beg like a dog in front of their ang moh russian master for scraps. Sad and pathetic LOLOLOLOL!

Wumaos go bow to your russian ang moh father hahaha!
