Say how much is enough is easier than to earn for it.
How much will depends on their expectations and standard of living.
Aiya the answer is obvious.
1 Hdb flat fully paid
2 CPF RA $405000 at age 65. Monthly payout will be $2150
3 Cash saving $500000
Easy-peasy la...🤣

Aiyah, it depends on how long you going to live. If one dies young, not need much, maybe $50K if die in 2 years after retirement. If die in 20 years after retirement, then need $1.5M

Who knows when is the time to die?
Most will think can live up to 80 plus or 100
20k CPF OA plus some long term investments should be enough according to a stock guru.       Big Grin
