Must be trap, particularly the window was opened.

I thought gym have air con. How come need to open window?

in yhe 1st place the mgt is obsivously at fault n neligent 
even if the window is not open when u slip on running a treadmill at speed of 6 n above u will be pulling backward w a strong force enough to crack broke a window pane

i was pulled backward n fell to the ground in sg gymn  luckily the machine behind me was ard 8 ft away  if too near i will be hurt
the back of the treadmill shld not be facing any widow or door in case someone comes in will hv a direct knock on accident

Falling backwards from treadmill is common.

There are a few gym users at my condo who prefer to exercise without the air-conditioning, so they force open the locked windows which damages them.
