The war in Gaza would be so much different from other wars because Gaza's population density is 6,000 per km2 which is 92 times more than Ukraine's 65 per square Km2. Also, Hamas are cowards, they are hiding in the populated areas. So the casualty should be much higher than Ukraine naturally.
Singapore has a density of 8000 people per km2. If there is a war, it would about the same as GAZA.

By now it is common knowledge that many of the 1000 killed were killed by IDF tanks & helicopter gunships in friendly fire incidents when the IDF panicked & sprayed bullets
And many of the 1000 people killed were no ordinary "people" minding their own business . They were IDF troops and settlers in the business of stealing Palestinian land.

That's their way of fightling back lor, by using civilians as human shields. Who's to say it's the wrong or right way as long as it works. This is the same as guerilla warfare, not a direct face-to-face fight where the weaker side won't win by conventional means. I'd say they're stupid if they really dare come out to fight.

That's because you were not reading intently. I wrote many of them were killed by IDF. Not all of them.
By the way, on 7 Oct when Hamas raided Israeli military sites located on farms & villages (kibbutz) that once belonged to Arabs, many IDF troops who were too afraid to confront Hamas were killed by fellow IDF troops in friendly fire incidents. How that happened, anyone's guess.
When Israel say Hamas use "human shields", Israel is doing it too by putting military bases in villages.
The IDF is not some Gods chosen army with mystical powers. They are disorganised, panicky & trigger happy NS men & women who ended up deployed next to Gaza on stolen land.

The IDF had intelligence about Hamas plans at least 1 year ahead. The settlers themselves witnessed Hamas rehearsing the invasion weeks before 7 Oct & reported it but were told not to worry. The Egyptian intelligence also alerted Israel.
So, the more relevant question one should ask is why didnt Israel act on those intel? And why was the rave party RELOCATED very close to Gaza days before 7 Oct smack in the middle of Hamas invasion route.

Yes. I read it. Dun deny tt u r wrong. The report is very clear to me tt HAMAS attacked Israel. IDF might have defended. There were accusation they killed and they were investigated by Israel side. This was not covered by the COE.
