More like NATO vs UN.... the PLA contribute the largest no. of Peace-keeping force with the United Nation.

Take note of the blue-helmet but this "Peace-keeping" forces  are fully equipped like any PLA soldiers

BTW, this month China-Belgrade military exercise codenamed Falcon Assault is taking place near the city of Brest  at the the border with Poland, a NATO member and about 50km away from Ukraine.

Chinese has a way of sending an obvious signal and message to NATO with the minimal cost of men and effort.

Total PLA involvment is not even a brigade size unit (<200)  and are lightly-armed PLA infantry from 80th Army...one of the unit that destroyed US Army calvary during the 1950 Korean War.  More interestingly these small units acts like a rapid-deployment force (RDF) by flying in on Y-20s from  PLAAF - with obvious strategic purpose.
