USA cannot compete so the only way is to force takeover the advanced company.

Just like in Malaisia, they force take over the chinese owned lucrative companies esp the banks and the sugar king chain.
If Trump wins the election, he may force TSMC to move its HQ to the U.S. and pay global taxes to the U.S. government instead of Taiwan. So Taiwanese government will lose all the taxes from TSMC.
