A second sinkhole has emerged on Jalan Masjid India - the same road where a 48-year-old Indian tourist was swallowed by one days earlier.
The latest incident is said to have occurred in the early hours on Wednesday (Aug 28) after a heavy downpour and is about 50m from the sinkhole that the woman fell into, Malaysian media reported.
News agency Bernama said the second sinkhole has since been completely cordoned off by Kuala Lumpur City Hall.
Dang Wangi district police chief Suliezmy Affendy Sulaiman acknowledged the latest sinkhole, telling the New Straits Times: "A discussion is ongoing regarding the possibility of expanding the cordoned-off area. We will provide further updates later."
Pray for JHK Twinkle and his family back in Malaysia.
