So dangerous. I had a new phone when I renew my contract with my service provider 20 yrs ago. However I did not use this new phone. When I decided to use the new phone the battery had already gone flat and need to be recharge. The phone was very heated up after it was recharged. I decided to switch off the phone but the phone cld not be shut off. For fear that the pnone could explode, I decided to take out the battery and use my old phone instead.
I am sure it's going to have an effect on iPhone.

Report: Senior Iranian official says Hezbollah pager could have caused helicopter crash that killed Raisi.
A senior Iranian official reportedly says Tehran was involved in purchasing the pagers held by Hezbollah operatives that exploded across Lebanon last week in an attack widely blamed on Israel, and hinted that such a device could have been responsible for the helicopter crash that killed Iranian president Ebrahim Raisi in May.
In a post on X, Europe-based Iranian journalist Mohamad Ahwaze reports that Ahmad Bakhshayesh Ardestani, a member of the Iranian parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, said that Hezbollah had been hacked and confirmed that Raisi had one of the compromised pagers.
At least 30 people were killed and thousands injured when pagers and walkie-talkies used by Hezbollah operatives exploded across Lebanon on Tuesday and Wednesday, in a coordinated attack widely blamed on Israel after months of cross-border fire.

I’ve seen something similar happen when we were using some older communication devices. We had this issue where a few of our radios were acting up during a trip. Someone suggested that the batteries might be the cause, and sure enough, it was. We switched to a different uhf portable radio, and it was way more reliable after that, with no more problems. It’s crazy how something like that can mess up important gear. Might be worth looking into the batteries if that’s a common thread with the devices you’re seeing go bad.
