Every citizens hv freedom of votes. Don't feel threatened just becos deprive of amenities. This happened to Chiam See Tong ward too. I stands up for Aljunued and Hougang citizens who hv the back bone to continue their support for WP. I detest those big bullies who stoop so low. When I was staying in Hougang, I voted for WP. In Queenstown, I wil do the same to support Oppositions.
It is good they still remember the HG history.
And not a Wokism Party.

I got one army friend all along stay in Hougang, he told me under Opposition wards also got upgrade here and there etc. Even got million dollar HDB flat sold in Hougang in fact.
Last time LKY not happy so play those dirty trick , is more likely JBJ and later low keep screw LKY etc later some changes.
Now PAP those candidates wanna contest in Hougang also keep PLP the resident there. Summary When your area are Under Opposition even GRC LOL Got Two Party aid .

You are rite. Hougang area is a hot area sought by many buyers. Due to proximity of direct north east mrt line that go to Chinatown within mins, it is very fast and convenient. Prices also not cheap. Even Jurong West, Yishun and Bt Panjang cannot beat Hougang in term of location.

Yea, NEL is the most convenient line..
Serangoon interchange, Little India, Orchard (Dhoby Ghuat), Clarke Quay (CBD), Chinatown / Outram Park, HaborFront / Sentosa all within 45 minutes short ride on this short line… very convenient line..

With the mrt ext to Sengkang. Many people don't mind buying Sengkang area too.

My friend has just moved from Punggol Pasir Ris GRC to Hougang and he is happy there!

It is a newer estate compared to Pasir Ris which very far to central. Also very clean environment with many foods centres, coffee shops and malls.
In my entire life, I've never spent more than a combined total of 3 hours in Hougang. Of that time, I spent 2 hours playing soccer there during my secondary school days.
