You cannot say a place is cheap by adjusting prices using salaries.

When the word cheap or expensive is used the price in SGD for same item is compared.

If you use his warp logic statement like " iPhone is twice as expensive in Malaysia" can be generated .....it confuses everyone.

What he can say is Hawker food in Singapore is more affordable than in KL because we have much higher income.

More accurate to say "Among median income earners.....hawker food is more affordable duevto higher income in Singapore...."

If you havw zero and make zero money no matter how cheap u may not be able to afford it hence it is unaffrodable even if CKT is  $1.

Anyway the MP is a turkey.

Why use his logic only for hawker food to show singapore is better.

Applied to housing, cars, transport medical...its may not work in favor of singapore.
