you have under estimated PAP.

assuming 1 millions malaysians live in singapore.
because they live in singapore, other foreigners cannot come in.

now, 1 million malaysian move back to malaysia and use RTS to come to singapore.
PAP can now invite 1 million china/India foreigners to come to singapore.
eventually instead of 1 million malaysians live in singapore, now PAP can have 1 millions malaysians work in singapore using RTS and 1 millions of new china/India foreigners living in singapore
so the population is increased by 1 millions of china/india foreigners when RTS is in operation.
more CECA raped your whore mother and your daughter

Some points legit but some is not. Those currently rent rooms at woodlands obviously will get affected. Next you can say they all come here but how about we locals? Obviously more will go in to shop due to strong sin dollars.

In fact PAP telling the local business owners can benefit from both sides , mean office setup here in SG where production set up at Malaysia.

Impossible to be 1 million as the capacity of RTS is only 10K per hour per direction.
It will take RTS 100 hours to transport 1 million in one direction.
Room rentals may be affected. Whole units unlikely.

you are very stupid!

you are dead wrong!

how can there be only 1 million malaysians in singapore?

Because A few years ago in 2022, Malaysia's former Human Resources Minister V. Sivakumar already stated that
1.13 million Malaysians migrated to Singapore. That means there are 1.13 million malaysians new citizens and permanent residents in singapore.

Then if add this 1.13 million malaysians new citizens and permanent residents with those malaysians holding employment passes, S-Pass, work permits, student passes, then around 1.5 to 1.8 million malaysians in singapore
sure have impact. bit local shops will still be viable. jsut like why neighbourhood shopping center still got people when so many atas one in city.
There are many shameless scum netizens that purposely left out the Malaysians and purposely scold only the China/India/Vietnam people. These biased scum netizens are either former malaysians that migrated to Singapore themselves or they married Malaysian spouses or they have direct family members that are Malaysia-born migrants and they purposely attack the China/India/Vietnam people to divert attention away from the fact that malaysians are the largest group of foreigners snatching Singaporean's rice bowls.

A few years ago, Malaysia's former Human Resources Minister V. Sivakumar also stated that 1.13 million Malaysians migrated to Singapore in 2022.

And if I am not mistaken, I think this 1.13 million malaysians new citizens and permanent residents haven't include those malaysians holding employment passes, S-Pass, work permits, student passes.

Got at least around 1.5 million malaysians in Singapore (maybe even 1.8 million malaysians) snatching Singaporeans's rice bowls and competing for resources, these biased shameless scum netizens purposely totally don't want to say anything about the 1.5 to 1.8 million malaysians snatching Singaporeans's rice bowls and shamelessly keep constantly scold a few hundred thousand China/India/Vietnam people for snatching Singaporeans's rice bowls.

True, cheng hu calculated before,
but rental should still come down.
Nothing can go up without come down... at least a while.
No need to stay in expensive country like Singapore and Malaysians can take the train to work instead. Those Woodlands Buses like 950, 903 etc and Company arranged buses can reduce the trips.
